The Catholic religion there is a very well structured hierarchy. First as in Judaism there is God over everything. Then came the Pope who is the Vicar of Christ. Then there are thePatriarchs, Major Archbishops, Cardinals, Primates, Metropolitans, Archbishops, Diocesan Bishops and finally Bishops . This structure makes the Church run in a functional way having always someone aboveand having a maximum authority which is the Pope. As you get a higher degree in the pyramid you get more authority but also more responsibility. Even though Christianity is a monotheistic religionthey believe in God as the creator of everything but they also believe in Jesus as their leader and the one who founded the Catholic Church and is also the son of God. They believe in Virgin Mary TheFather, The Son which is Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. The Architecture of Christianity is based on the cross which usually is placed at the top of the Church, the Church is the mix of the Greek temple,the Roman public building, the private Roman house and the synagogue.
Different from Christianity there is Islam the second largest religion in the world today. . In the Islam there is no socialhierarchy, there are no priests and every single person is responsible for their own believes and faith.
