Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest planet within the Solar System. The planet was known by astronomers of ancient times, and was associated with the mythology and religiousbeliefs of many cultures.
Jupiter is classified as a gas giant along with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Together, these four planets are referred to as the Jovian planets
Jupiter has been explored onseveral occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably by the Galileo orbiter.
Jupiter has a huge magnetic field, radiates more energy into space than it receives from the Sun, it has rings like Saturn's,but much fainter and smaller. When it is in the nighttime sky, Jupiter is often the brightest "star" in the sky

Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second largest planet in the SolarSystem, after Jupiter.
Saturn has been known since prehistoric times. Early observations of Saturn were complicated by the fact that the Earth passes through the plane of Saturn's rings every few yearsas Saturn moves in its orbit.
Though they look continuous from the Earth, the rings are actually composed of innumerable small particles each in an independent orbit.
When it is in the nighttimesky, Saturn is easily visible to the unaided eye. Though it is not nearly as bright as Jupiter, it is easy to identify as a planet because it doesn't "twinkle" like the stars do. The rings and thelarger satellites are visible with a small astronomical telescope.

Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun and the third largest . It is named after the ancient Greek deity of the sky . It was thefirst planet discovered with a telescope. Uranus is similar in composition to Neptune, and both are of different chemical composition than the larger gas giants, Jupiter and Saturn. Astronomerssometimes place them in a separate category called "ice giants". It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in the Solar System. In contrast, the interior of Uranus is mainly composed of ices and rock. Like...
