Prólogo
Para hacer esta antología yo elegí a una de mis bandas favoritas, Never Shout Never, banda estadounidense de indie rock, conformada por Christofer Drew (11/Feb/1991), Caleb Denison, Taylor McFeey Hayden Kaiser, de estos tres últimos se desconoce su fecha de nacimiento ya que sólo eran miembros de apoyo de Chris, hasta 2010 que pasaron a ser miembros oficiales de la banda.
Sus inicios como músico comenzaron en 2005, cuando asistía a la escuela, componiendo canciones que mezclaban el estilo pop con la música acústica e indie rock. En 2007 Christofer se hizo conocido en MySpace, dondelanzó su primer demo bajo el nombre de Never Shout Never, el 29 de julio de 2008. El 30 de julio de ese año, Drew apareció en el programa Total Request Live de MTV interpretando “Big City Dreams”. En ese mismo año Never Shout Never estuvo de gira con Hellogoodbye y Ace Enders.
Su primer álbum estudio fue What Is Love?, del cual el primer sencillo titulado de la misma manera alcanzó la posición #24 delBillboard 200.
Su segundo álbum titulado Time Travel fue lanzado el 16 de septiembre de 2011, del cual Christofer anuncia que cambiará el estilo de Never Shout Never ya que quieren comenzar de nuevo por la idea equivocada que tiene la gente sobre ellos.
Mi inspiración para hacer este trabajo fue mi fanatismo hacia esta banda, hacia Christofer, su manera de ver la vida, la forma en que escribecanciones, sus temas, su voz y su talento para tocar la guitarra entre otros instrumentos y mi objetivo más que nada es dar a conocerlos a mis compañeros u otras personas que lean mi antología y claro demostrar mi admiración dando a conocer 10 de mis canciones preferidas de NSN♥
