The book of The Ghost Writer is composed by eighteen chapters in which it is narrated by a journalist, who is narrated more in the story, who is sent to an island in The United States to investigate MacAra, the person who was writing the dialogs of the ex-first minister and also he wrote great part of the life of theMr. Lang in a book, which in an inexplicable way they did not know the reason of his death. The journalist travels to London to Martha's Vineyard's city where previously MacAra was living in the house of the Mr. Lang, in a big house the ex-first minister was living and together with his wife the Sr. Ruth. The secondary characters are Amelia Kry, Rick, Sydney Kroll, Alice, Jeff, etc., those whoalso form a part of this so impressive history. The journalist wants to investigate to Adam Lang and he thought that the ex-first minister is a politician without vocation that previously already had read great part of the life of the Mr. Lang, to sorrow that he wants to verify everything on MacAra's death relating his death to the Mr. Lang but on having related to the life of the secretary he knowsthat Mr. Lang is a common person as other one but and it came to the politics because it wanted to conquer to Ruth, nowadays his wife, and he obtains it. Finally whenever the journalist investigates more about the life of the Mr. Lang admits that MacAra was very a friend of Adam Lang to sorrow that they were two very different persons for his job, and with one or another way MacAra wanted to helpto the Mr. Lang writing little about the life of the ex-first minister. When Lang gives confidence to the journalist he believes that it is not going to betray it but the journalist not to be able take like the topic about MacAra's death, nevertheless the journalist his mission is to unmask the Mr. Lang, later Lang is put in a problem where they involve it of authorizing the torture in a war thatI do not remember which was this, the journalist tries to be useful of this situation and later it knows that Mr. Lang is a charismatic person and that he is not involved by the death of the MacAra.

This novel was written three years by the writer Robert Harris who presents a series of problems that these are the reflection of the political society, probably he based about some regime ofgovernment where these exist big problems and these are often very notable in the society. This story us transmits the every life of a very important representative in the politics without vocation but the most important thing is that he presents us a panorama of the politics of today. I related it to the minister Raffarin during the government of Chirac, who as Adam Lang who always appeared whenChirac had big problems with the society. The writer offers us a series of problems related to the politics and the mass media doing conscience to the reader about these topics. The problem that more impressed me was about the torture in time of war. I really believe that this problem they originate for the middle ages great where people were punished by the instruments of torture for which onebelieved that they were bewitching, assassins, thieves, etc., and they were punished of this form, since then it has existed these instruments that cause the death of a violent way of the persons.
