Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Is a multinational American company that runs a chain of large discount department and warehouse stores.
Wal-Mart slogan, “Save money and Live better”, is their key ofsuccess. Selling goods cheaper and in mass had become their best technique to become the number one in almost every market they invest.

Samuel Moore "Sam" Walton (March 29,1918 – April 5, 1992) was a businessman and entrepreneur born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma best known for founding the retailers Wal-Mart and Sam's Club.

* 1940 SamWalton started to work at the J.C. Penny store in Des Moines.
* 1945 Butler Brothers offered him one of his “Ben Franklin” franchise in Newport, Arkansas and then opened “Walton´s Fiveand Dime”
* 1962 Sam Walton founded the first Wal-Mart Discount City store in Rogers, Arkansas.
* 1968 He opened its first stores in Sikeston, Missouri, Claremore and Oklahoma* 1969 Sam incorporated his companies name as “Wal-Mart Stores Inc.”
* 1995 The company opened overseas stores, entering South America.
