Escribir un reporte del capítulo 1 del libro "Thinking in Systems. A Primer" de Donella Meadows (el cual se encuentra en la sección de material para estudio).
El reporte consiste en identificarpor lo menos TRES ideas importantes de cada página de la lectura asignada. Entrega tu reporte por este medio. Cada una de las ideas importantes debe estar numerada
Thinking in system: Chapter one,Basics
1) A system is an interconnected set of elements that is coherently organized in a way that achieves something.
2) A system consists in 3 kinds of things: elements, interconnections and afunction or purpose.
3) An example is digestion, some elements teeth, stomach, enzymes, those are interrelated through the flow of the food and the function is getting the nutrients of the food.4) There is an integrity or wholeness about a system and an active set of mechanisms to maintain that integrity.
5) Systems are resilient and many of them evolutionary.
6) The elements of asystem are often the easiest parts to notice, because many of them are visible and tangible things.
7) Intangible things are also elements of a system.
8) Elements could be divided intosub-elements and then sub-sub-elements.
9) A good idea when you start dividing elements is to start looking for the interconnections and the relationships that hold the elements together.
10) Someinterconnections in systems are physical flows and many others are flow of information.
11) A system’s function is not necessarily spoken, written or expressed explicitly.
12) The best way todeduce the function is to watch how the system behaves.
13) Purposes are deducted from behavior, not from rhetoric or started goals.
14) System purposes need not to be human purposes and arenot necessarily those intended by any single actor within the system.
15) The purposes of subunits in a system may add up to an overall behavior that no one wants.
