Purpose of theInvestigation
Anesthesia is the use of medicine to reduce or prevent pain in animals and humans. Today, many animals are kept as pets in our houses, and when they need surgery or control, the veterinarian mustplace them under anesthesia.
The amount of anesthesia that the veterinarian will use will depend on the type and weight of the animal. Before injecting it, he must check that the animal is healthy. After injecting the anesthesia, the veterinarian must observe the behavior of each animal to make sure that he has given the right amount and this will also tell him if the animal does not feel painand is ready for the surgery.
