Internet problems in children
Spending too much time on the internet can have some consequences in people, especially in children. This activity has three common psychologicalproblems. The first problem is that the internet causes addiction to children. “Today, 8-18 year-olds devote an average of 7 hours and 38 minutes (7:38) to using entertainmentmedia across a typical day.” (“KFF”). For example, children use the internet in order to solve problems and they try to answer all the questions about everything, do this activityaffect to children because they are unable to think for themselves. Another problem that it causes is loneliness; it depends directly of the time that children spend online.While children spend more time online, the possibility of they will become in a lonely person, increases. Children believe in a virtual world and when it happens they become in shypersons. “They may desire to be a part of a virtual community in order to fit into the real world.”
(“QUT”). Children just show their feelings in the "virtual world," whenchildren are having online interaction.
In conclusion, the internet could be a dangerous tool for children if they are not controlled by their parents.
