Define Arts

The arts reach students who aren’t reached before in different ways. They connect students to themselves and to others, also transform the environment of learning and provide learningopportunities for teachers to learn through young learners. Also provide new challenges for those students already considered successful. The art connect learning experiences to the world of work.Students are more engage, art activities are more motivating, attractive and fun; they can learn more across the whole day and all subjects. Offers different cognitive styles of learning and invitesthem to learn academic skills.

I am strongly agreed to support art and incorporate art in all subjects to engage students in learning activities.


The term ‘arts’ is seen to encompassdifferent things in different contexts, including but not limited to the performing arts (music, dance, drama, and theatre), visual arts, media, industrial arts, and literary arts. ‘The arts’ is theterminology used most commonly to refer to music, visual art, dance, drama, and media. In primary schools, the K-6 Key Learning Area ‘Creative Arts’ encompasses only four of these art forms; music, visualarts, dance, and drama.

The study identified innovative classroom practices that anticipate the needs and challenges of creative arts education and the young people it serves. The significance ofthis study lies in the researcher’s intention to contribute new knowledge to two significantly under-investigated areas in this field: the nature of classroom practice of creative arts education; and thestudy of creative arts education as an umbrella term within a primary school setting.
