CONJUCTION
A conjunction is a word that joins two or more words, phrases, or clauses.
Think of them as gluing words. They glue words, phrases, or clauses together.
For example, if you would liketo have your friend bring music and snacks to your party, it's pretty hard to do it without a conjunction.

PREPOSITION
Sometimes it helps to start with examples and pictures.
Think of apreposition as any word that describes the relationship between a caterpillar and an apple. In the picture below, all of the prepositions are underlined.

INTERJECTION
An interjection is a word that showsemotion. It is not grammatically related to the rest of the sentence.
Interjections are usually one to two words that come at the beginning of a sentence. They can show happiness (Yippee!), sadness(Aww!), anger (Grrr!), surprise (Holy cow!), or any other emotion.

FREQUENCY ADVERBS
The most common frequency adverbs in English are:

Frequency adverbs can be placed at various points in the sentence, but are most commonly used before the main verbs and after be verbs.
Ialways come to work on time.
They are seldom home when we call.
He's usually eating breakfast at this time.
She's never been to Maine.

ADVERB OF MANNER

Some adverbs tell us how an action is orshould be performed.
Often these adverbs are formed by adding -ly to the end of an adjective.
Adjectives ending -l add -ly ; careful-carefully.
Adjectives ending -y change to -ily ;lucky-luckily
Adjectives ending -ble change to -bly ; responsible-responsibly
