El hotel California era un lujoso hotel que quedaba en la cuidad de New York, Estados Unidos. En el año 1969 el hotel dejo de funcionar totalmente quedando abandonado. Años después fue usado como unade las primeras iglesias satánicas de la cuidad. En ella se congregaron varias sectas para realizar sus oraciones al demonio, “Hotel California” es una canción que describe de una manera no muy clarala situación que se vive en un templo en el que se adora a Satán. Cuenta que en una secta satánica es muy fácil ingresar pero jamás se puede abandonar, también narra que en ella hay espejos en eltecho (símbolo sexual), al final narra detalladamente como es la relación con el propio demonio.
