After have been watching the video of HBS case method as a learning tool,I can say that:

The case method is very important for the business world, because the students getprepare to face the real situations and they learn to decide under pressure, using methods of analysis and review cases, and consequently consider the alternative courses of actions .

at thebeginning, students receive a document that describes the situation of a company where managers must make a decision, there are included all data that usually has a manager, Students analyze the casefirst individually and then in small groups And finally, the teacher asks the students their findings and fired a discussion of the various groups argue their position and try to persuade the rest thatyour approach is correct.
The aim is to enable students to learn each of the approaches proposed by their peers and develop leadership and negotiation skills when persuading.

This method helps toimprove the thought and the take of decisions of the students. Also it helps to them to think dynamically creating strategies and making concrete ideas. It is to say; that this method provides asystemic and strategic thought.

in conclusion I really liked this video I find very interesting that this method relies heavily on the belief of the experiences of real business situations and that isthe best way to develop management skills. for future managers
