RESUME

The preliminary study of agro-biodiversity in the Rural School of Agroecology in the municipality of San Rafael in Tulua, allowed us to analyze the different forms of conservation,management and use of agricultural biodiversity from the perspective of the material, social and spiritual fields. The Agroecology Rural Schools (ARS) are a sustainable endogenous development strategy (EDS)to improve the quality of life of farmers. For the development of this research, the Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology was used, where the farmers were not investigation objects but theywere research subjects, enabling knowledge from a concrete reality. Applying the Cultural Logic Historical Approach (LHC) and Revalued Participatory Research (RPR) allowed to study, understand,analyze and reassess the culture, history, territory and agro-biodiversity in their integral form. This work precisely creates a management plan and conservation of agricultural biodiversity through thesystematization of the experience.

RESUMEN

El estudio preliminarde la agrobiodiversidad en la Escuela Campesina de Agroecología de San Rafael municipio de Tuluá nos permitió analizar las diferentes formas de conservación, manejo y uso de la agrobiodiversidad,desde la perspectiva del ámbito material, social y espiritual. Las Escuelas Campesinas de Agroecología (ECA) son una estrategia de desarrollo endógeno sustentable (DES) para el mejoramiento de lacalidad de vida de los campesinos. Para el desarrollo de la investigación, se emplearon la metodología Investigación Acción Participativa (IAP) donde los campesinos no fueron objeto de investigaciónsino sujeto de investigación, posibilitando el conocimiento de la realidad concreta.
