Actually, we are in a period where the standard of beauty forces us to be skinny, young and attractive, if you do not have thesecharacteristics, you are a loser. Every where we can hear about how can you lose weight, what is the best diet, fat free foods, smaller sizes, etc. every those things to be skinny, if you are skinny then you arehappy. Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy and/or increased healthproblems, I found this definition in the dictionary. The obesity is not only a health problem, I do not think to speak about health because I am not a medic, but I want to make sense of the economicimpact social and cultural problems.
There are many slimming pills and other miracles that would have us lose weight effortlessly. Diuretics, fat burning, thermogenics, etc. are available in pharmacies,chemists, herbalists and even Internet.
