NEGATIVE:
SUBJECT+AUX+NOT+VERB+COMPLEMENT
INTERROGATIVE:
AUX+SUBJECT+VERB+COMPLEMENT+?

NOTA IMPORTANTE: Los auxiliares DO-DOES solamente se utilizan para negar ypara interrogar.

En oraciones afirmativas solamente se le agrega “s” o “es” al verbo según el caso.

EXAMPLES:

1.- JOHN/ TO SPEAK/ ENGLISH
A- JOHN SPEAKS ENGLISHJohn habla inglés
N- JOHN DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH John no habla inglés
I- DOES JOHN SPEAK ENGLISH? ¿HablaJohn Inglés?
2.- THE BOYS/ TO WORK/ HARD
A- THE BOYS WORK HARD
N- THE BOYS DO NOT WORK HARD
I- DO THE BOYS WORK HARD?

NOTA IMPORTANTE: Hay ciertas reglas que son necesarias para laterminación de los verbos en este tiempo en forma afirmativa; estos son:

1.- Cuando el verbo termina en CH, SH, X, SS se le agrega “ES”
Ej.: pass passes
wash washes
2.-Cuando el verbo termina en consonante + y, se sustituye la y por i, agregándole “es”
Ej. Study Studies
3.- Cuando el verbo termina en vocal + y, solamente se le agrega “s”
