1. Why you choose the particularly country.

The country I choose for this work is Japan. I have two reasons to choose it:
• Firstly Japan is a country totally different for my country that is Chile (culture , population , education, ways to make businesses etc.) and I think that it will be very interesting to know the best way to make a good business withthe Japanese people and what things is important for them at the time of doing negotiations (protocols)
• Chile have a free trade agreement with Japan so I think that is very important to know how made negotiations with Japan.

2. Why Japan is an interest country for making business

Japan is the second largest economy and market after the U.S. 15% of the world's economyis in Japan. Its provides an attractive complete market with high productivity and high purchasing power. Recently in response to recessionary pressures, Japan has been slowly easing restrictions on foreign business.
  Japan is the traditional heart of the Asian market and Investing in this country is vital to taking advantage of the entire Asian market. It also is the hub of the Asian region inall aspects of global business, including trade, traffic, and regional headquarters.
Japan's infrastructure is developed to a high standard for information and communications technology (ICT), logistics, and other purposes, enabling your own development of advanced information businesses and logistics systems based on these infrastructures. The Technologically it is very advanced: there areabout 20 million internet users, and 50 million mobile phone .It also have high-speed of information and telecommunications and using Japan’s highly developed infrastructure network is enables the strategic development of business.
Japan's environmental business is a promising field, supported by cutting-edge technology and rapid growth.
The costs of doing business in Japan (forexample: labor costs, and interest rates) have decreased dramatically. Taxes too have decreased to a level that compares well with other countries.

3. Which main cross-cultural differences of the chosen country

The globalizations of markets and companies as well as growing international trade have increased the importance of efficient and effective cross-cultural businessnegotiations.
Doing business in Japan necessitates preparing oneself by understanding areas such as gifts, business culture, business etiquette, and negotiation and meeting protocol. These things have crucial impact on the success of negotiation with the Japanese.
Is very important that the persons that going to made negotiations in Japanese know this cross-cultural aspects.Relevant cultural dimensions

Managers in today’s multicultural global business community frequently encounter cultural differences, which can interfere with the successful completion of projects.
