RESOLUCION 3673 DE 2008
Dicha resolución establece el reglamento técnico de trabajo seguro en alturas la cual aplica a todos los empleadores, empresas, contratistas, subcontratistas y trabajadores de todas las actividades económicas de los sectores formales e informales de la economía, que desarrollen trabajos en alturas con peligro de caídas. Por endese entenderá por trabajo en alturas, toda labor o desplazamiento que se realice a 1,50 metros o más sobre un nivel inferior. Pero para reconocer trabajos de altura se debe tener bien definidos términos como:
Absorbente de choque: Equipo cuya función es disminuir las fuerzas de impacto en el cuerpo del trabajador o en los puntos de anclaje en el momento de una caída.
