ANÁLISIS GRANULOMÉTRICO DE LOS AGREGADOS PÉTREOS (GRAVA Y- ARENA)
1. MARCOB TEÓRICO. -
Se entiende por análisis granulométrico a la operación de separar una muestra de agregado en fracciones, cada una de las cuales consta de partículas del mismo tamaño. En la práctica cada fracción contiene partículas que se encuentran dentro de los límites específicos, queson las aberturas de los tamices estándar de muestreo.
El tamaño de partícula se determina por medio de tamices de malla de alambre cori aberturas cuadradas. Los 7 tamices estándar ASTM C 33 para agregado fino tienen aberturas que varían desde la malla número 100 (150 micras, y significa que esta malla contiene 100 hilos de alambre por pulgada cuadrada) hasta 9.52 mm.
