Football also called football or soccer is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players each and a referee who ensures that the rules are properly followed.
It isconsidered the world's most popular sport they participate in it some 270 million people, is played on a rectangular grass field, with a target or goal for each side of the field.
The object is tomove a ball across the field to try and locate this within the opponents' goal, action is called a goal. The team that scores the most goals after the party which wins.
The modern game wascreated in England following the formation of the Football Association, soccer's governing body is the Fédération Internationale de Football Association, known by its acronym FIFA.
Theinternational football competition is the most prestigious FIFA World Cup, held every four years. This event is the most famous and largest number of viewers the world, doubling the audience of theOlympics.
