1. Introduction
The first thing that we would say about this work is that we have divided it in four parts
that correspond to each task.
We think that the posterior activities proposals are very important because we do this
activities and we can use it when we will be teachers and If we work hard to do this
activities, it will be very beneficial for them .
It is necessary that thestudents have certain characteristics to learn a language such as
creativity, imagination, interest and the game.

2. Task 1: summary of text:
" Listening and Speaking ".
Two characteristic the most important to handle a foreign language for us are listening
and speaking.
In this text say that we as teachers should we use techniques, which it should for
developing pupils and is veryimportant that children haven't a passive attitude.
Firstly, we are going to talk about listening, that is a very important ability to
understand the language and it is a very hard work for a pupil if they never heard
another foreign language. The teacher should used funny activities in classroom for
children can be enjoy and they will learn more quickly when they have a simple routine
in theforeign language.
On listening activities includes some strategies like: predicting, working out the
meaning from context and recognizing discourse pattern and markers.
The listening activities have three parts, too: pre-listening activities, while- listening
activities and after listening activities. In the first type of activities, teachers must
prepare activities for learners and thisactivities must to work out the background
knowledge, learn new words and structures.
We as future teachers, must do interesting and motivating activities in order that the
children are interested in learning a new language.
Learning English is necessary for children to learn first the basics like colors, numbers
etc. this is the basis of all other activities.
First lessons often focus on teachingsimple greetings and introductions
In the early stages of children's learning cannot expect much
Children will learn early on formulaic language that build entire sections rather than
word by word.

Children memorize routines or patterns allowing them to communicate and have the
impression that they can talk much. Such language consists of: simple greetings, social
English, routines,classroom language, asking permission…
The teacher has to develop a series of activities that provide a balance between control
and the use of creativity, repetition and provide various models of spoken English.

3. Task 2: Analysing materials for our
listening and speaking sessions.
1. Why do we, as teachers, use songs, rhymes and chants in our foreign language
classes? Which are theirbenefits?
Because they are activities that you can use with children because it's a method that you
can use to motivate them. They can learn with a funny and entertaining form. It can
improve the vocabulary, the pronunciation in some words.
The benefits to use are more motivation, funny activities for children and new method
to learn others new language forms, like pronunciation.

2. When andhow should we use songs, rhymes and chants in our classes?
We can use it at the beginning the class to motivate children and we start the class with
children more relaxed, and at the end of the class when children are more tired and it
can motivate again for the next class.
