LA VIOLENCIA INTRAFAMILIAR Y SU REPERCUSIÓN EN LA SALUD MENTAL DEL NIÑO Y DEL ADOLESCENTE.
TITLE: THE INTRAFAMILIAR VIOLENCE AND ITS REPERCUSSION IN THE MENTAL HEALTH OF THE BOY AND THE ADOLESCENT.

RESUMEN.
Se realizó un trabajo descriptivo para conocer elcomportamiento de la violencia intrafamiliar (VIF) y su repercusión en la salud mental del niño y del adolescente en el Consultorio Médico de la Familia No. 15, perteneciente al Policlínico “Raúl Suárez Martínez” del Área de Rodas, en el cual se utilizó un cuestionario a modo de entrevista elaborado al efecto y se aplicaron tres test proyectivos para valorar la repercusión de la violencia intrafamiliar en elmenor. En el mismo se constató un alto índice de VIF (62.3 %), donde el nivel escolar secundario fue el que predominó y las amas de casa fueron las que más ejecutaron la violencia. No se halló una relación entre las condiciones económico-materiales y la VIF. La violencia psicológica fue la más encontrada (89.5%) y dentro de las actitudes inadecuadas de los responsables de la inconsistenciapredominó un 50 %. El abuso verbal con un 100 % fue le de mayor repercusión dentro de los actos de VIF, siendo las relaciones afectivas del menor catalogadas de regulares con un 63.1 %. Dentro de los trastornos resultantes de la VIF se destacaron: la inseguridad, la evasividad y los trastornos del sueño en un 100 %. Los datos obtenidos se procesaron en el programa EPINFO 2. Los resultados fueronexpresados en números absolutos y porcientos y se representaron en tablas y gráficos. Palabras Claves: violencia intrafamiliar
